Lahore(Pakistan Point News - 16th Feb, 2018 ) According to a Gilani Research Foundation Survey carried out by Gallup & Gilani Pakistan, more than one third Pakistanis (66%) opine it is never acceptable for a news organization to favor one political party over others when reporting the news. A nationally representative sample of men and women from across the four provinces was asked, “Which of the following statements comes closest to your view? It is sometimes acceptable for a news organization to favor one political party over others when reporting the news OR It is never acceptable for a news organization to favor one political party over others when reporting the news.
” In response to this question, 66% said it is never acceptable for a news organization to favor one political party over others when reporting the news and 27% said it is sometimes acceptable for a news organization to favor one political party over others when reporting the news. 7% did not respond.
