Impartial, transparent elections only way to resolve Karachi problems: JI leader Rashid Naseem

Deputy chief of the Jamaat e Islami, Rashid Naseem, has said that the only way to solve the problems of Karachi was to hold impartial and transparent elections and give a chance to the truly elected leadership of the Karachiites.

LAHORE, (Pakistan Point News - 14th Feb, 2018) : Deputy chief of the Jamaat e Islami, Rashid Naseem, has said that the only way to solve the problems of Karachi was to hold impartial and transparent elections and give a chance to the truly elected leadership of the Karachiites. Addressing the participants of the JI central workshop at Mansoora on Wednesday, he said that the problems of the mega city could not be resolved by any artificial leadership.

Hundreds of people from different part s of the country are attending the four day programme. He said that an attempt was being made to create an atmosphere of fear in the port city due to which the 250 million residents were looking at the rulers with feelings of anxiety. The JI central leader said that Karachi was mini Pakistan and people from most of the Muslim countries resided there. Likewise, people belonging to different regions and district s of Pakistan were also working in the port city.

He said that Karachi had always been the centre of Islamic forces but had suffered during the last three decades as its citizens were deprived of true representatives. He said that JI had served the people of Karachi without any regional or ethnic bias. JI leaders Prof. Ghafoor Ahmed, Abdus Sattar Afghani and Nematiullah Khan had embraced all the people of Karachi without any discrimination and had built the city as one the most developing metropolis. He said if the residents of Karachi wanted peace to return to the city, they should show trust the JI leadership.
