Police officers on Wednesday have arrested as many as two suspects for throwing acid on a girl for refusing to marry in Sialkot's Pakka Garha area, within the vicinity of Muradpur police station

Sialkot, (Pakistan Point News - 14th Feb, 2018) Police officers on Wednesday have arrested as many as two suspects for throwing acid on a girl for refusing to marry in Sialkot's Pakka Garha area, within the vicinity of Muradpur police station. Wearing mask, Qasim stormed 20-year-old Afshan's home as milk seller and threw acid on her for rejecting marriage proposal that also wounded her three sisters. The suspect escaped after the crime however, he and his accomplice Fakhar were later detained during an operation. The victims, Afshan, eight-year-old Amna, seven-year-old Ayesha and six-year-old Jannat, were immediately shifted to the hospital for medical treatment. IG Punjab took notice of the incident. According to DPO Sialkot, main accused Qasim want to marry Afshan and on her refusal sprayed acid on her with the help of his friend Fakhar.
