BEIJING, (Pakistan Point News - 12th Feb, 2018) : China reiterated its commitment to Bandung Conference, on the basis of the Five-Principles of Peaceful Coexistence. These principles have become the major international relations norms that all countries follow, said Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi. In a joint press briefing here with Indonesian Foreign Minister Lenoteno, he said China and Indonesia, jointly advocating the principles of the Bandung Conference.
The Chinese proposal of building a new type of international relations is a new way for Greece to step out of a country's relations with the country. Its core connotation is mutual respect, fairness and justice and a win-win cooperation. Wang Yi said the trend of globalization has risen and trade protectionism has been on the rise. As an important emerging economy, China and Indonesia have the responsibility to strengthen cooperation and work with other countries to firmly promote regional integration and safeguard the global free trade system.
At present, all parties are highly concerned about whether the RCEP can reach an agreement as soon as possible. China is willing to strengthen communication and coordination with Indonesia and other relevant parties and strive to complete the RCEP negotiation as soon as possible so as to push forward the process of regional integration and trade liberalization with concrete actions. This is in line with the ten principles of Bandung Conference jointly advocated by China Indonesia in that year.
Indonesia recently proposed that the framework of the Indo-Pacific region emphasize the principle of openness, transparency and inclusiveness, adhere to the general direction of dialogue and cooperation and accord with the tide of world development and progress. China aligns itself with this. In our view, the Cold War-like thinking that runs counter to this will no longer have a market.
