The FIFA World Cup Trophy has on Saturday reached Pakistan from Thailand on a special plane, and will be displayed in a ceremony in Lahore.

LAHORE,(Pakistan Point News - 03rd Feb, 2018) : The FIFA World Cup Trophy has on Saturday reached Pakistan from Thailand on a special plane, and will be displayed in a ceremony in Lahore. FIFA and Pakistan delegation reached Lahore along with the trophy today at 11:00 AM at the Allama Iqbal International Airport. Pakistan representatives included former cricket captain Younis Khan, showbiz stars Momina Mustehsan, Qurat-ul-Ain Balouch, Maya Ali and others.

Former French footballer Christian Karembeu has also arrived with the delegation. FIFA World Cup Trophy is made of 18-karat pure gold and weighs six kilograms. The ceremony will be attended by famous personalities, and common people will be allowed to see the trophy as well. FIFA World Cup is scheduled to be played in June in Russia this year, and the trophy is on its tour of 51 countries. It will be sent to Kazakhstan on February 4.
