The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) arrested 10 Pakistanis deported from Turkey, while they were trying to enter Turkish territory illegally, as they reached Sialkot International Airport here on Thursday.
SIALKOT, (Pakistan Point News - 01st Feb, 2018 ) : The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) arrested 10 Pakistanis deported from Turkey, while they were trying to enter Turkish territory illegally, as they reached Sialkot International Airport here on Thursday. FIA Divisional Deputy Director Khalid Anees said that most of the deported Pakistanis belonged to Sialkot region. He said that the accused had been sent illegally to Turkey by some local agents after extorting big amounts from them.
From Turkey, the accused were to be sent to Greece and other European countries illegally. However, the Turkish Border Security Forces arrested them. Most of these deported Pakistanis said that human traffickers and their agents had pledged to send them to Greece or other European countries through Turkey. Khalid Anees further said that the FIA has arrested these accused and sent them behind bars for further interrogation.
