Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Marriyum Aurangzeb has urged the journalists community to play a constructive role in highlighting national identity of Pakistan.
HAFIZABAD, (Pakistan Point News - 31st Jan, 2018) : Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Marriyum Aurangzeb has urged the journalists community to play a constructive role in highlighting national identity of Pakistan. Addressing oath taking ceremony of local press club body in Hafizabad on Wednesday afternoon, she said journalists have a crucial a role in the war against terrorism. She said terrorism has been controlled and dismantled due to sacrifices of people, armed forces and law enforcement agencies.
She said peace and security has been restored in the country due to effective policies of the PML-N government. Marriyum Aurangzeb said investment of fifty billion Dollars has been ensured in shape of China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) Project. She said CPEC is a great gift of China to Pakistan. Maryam Aurangzeb said that sit-in party has done nothing in last four years, they only built obstacles in the way of developement. She said that Nawaz Sharif was disqualified for iqama, no corruption could be proven in last four years on him.
She added that, how Nawaz Sharif has worked for development there is no other example even Sindh wants a CM like Shehbaz Sharif. She expressed that she is glad to see women reporters here and said that journalism should be used for the development and progress of the country, it should not be used for personal benefits. Speaking on this occasion, Minister for National Health Services, Saira Afzal Tarar said Pakistan is recognized as a peaceful country and emerging economy.
