A suspect was killed and policeman martyred as two groups clashed in the premises of court in the provincial capital here on Wednesday.
LAHORE, (Pakistan Point News - 31st Jan, 2018) : A suspect was killed and policeman martyred as two groups clashed in the premises of court in the provincial capital here on Wednesday. Police said that armed men of two groups which had come to Lahore Sessions Court, in court of Additional Judge Imran Shafih, to pursue a case, traded fire. In the cross firing a suspect Amjid was killed on the spot, his cohort injured while a cop Asif was critically wounded. The injured cop succumbed to his wounds in hospital. The bodies and injured were shifted to hospital. The police after registering a case into the incident have started an investigation.
