Overseas Pakistani gets back possession of plot worth Rs9mln

Due to the intervention of Overseas Pakistanis Commission (OPC) Punjab, an expatriate Pakistani got back possession of his plot worth nine million rupees in a private housing society.

LAHORE, (Pakistan Point News - 29th Jan, 2018) : Due to the intervention of Overseas Pakistanis Commission (OPC) Punjab, an expatriate Pakistani got back possession of his plot worth nine million rupees in a private housing society. Giving details in this connection, Vice Chairperson OPC, Shaheen Khalid Butt and Commissioner Afzaal Bhatti informed that Imran Majeed settled in Glasgow, UK, filed a complaint that he purchased a five marla plot in a private housing society of Lahore in 2011 and paid all dues, but he is yet to receive the plot. They told that OPC team contacted the administration of said housing scheme and ensured the provision of plot to Overseas Pakistani. The VC and Commissioner OPC further stated that thousands of complaints of Overseas Pakistanis have been resolved amicably so far.
