ISLAMABAD, (Pakistan Point News - 29th Jan, 2018) : The Prime Minister Shahid Khanqan Abbasi summoned cabinet meeting on Wednesday to discuss the country’s security, economic and other situation. According to sources 10-point agenda will be presented in the cabinet meeting. The decision regarding various ministries will also be taken during the meeting. On January 10, a meeting of the Federal cabinet has approved the appointment of Sardar Abdul Majeed Dasti as the new Sindh police chief to replace the incumbent Inspector General A.
D. Khawaja. The posting of new IG for Sindh was on the agenda of today’s cabinet meeting, which is currently underway with Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi in the chair. The sources told that Cabinet took this matter on priority and decided to appoint Sardar Abdul Majeed Dasti as new Inspector General of Police. The Sindh government earlier this month once again asked the federal government to post Sardar Abdul Majeed Dasti as the new IG Sindh.
