Two Injured In Resistance During Robbery Bid

RAWALPINDI ,(Pakistan Point News - 24th Jan, 2018 ) At least two people were wounded when dacoits opened fire during a robbery attempt in a village near Chaklala in the jurisdiction of Airport Police Station in Rawalpindi on Tuesday/Wednesday night. According to details, five dacoits entered a house to commit robbery in a village near Chaklala but the family members offered resistance upon which dacoits opened fire and wounded two people. The residents of the area gathered after hearing the gunshots upon which the dacoits tried to flee from the scene. The residents chased the fleeing dacoits and caught one of them. Angry residents subjected the dacoit to sound thrashing and handed him over to police. Rescue teams also reached the spot and shifted the injured to Benazir Hospital.
