Chief of Qaumi Watan Party (QWP) Aftab Ahmad Khan Sherpao has said that the politicians should have firm belief in the Parliament.
ISLAMABAD, (Pakistan Point News - 19th Jan, 2018) : Chief of Qaumi Watan Party (QWP) Aftab Ahmad Khan Sherpao has said that the politicians should have firm belief in the Parliament. Talking to media persons outside the Parliament House Islamabad on Friday, Aftab Sherpao slammed the statement of chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan about the parliament. He said that Imran should be aware of the fact that it was the parliament that would elect him the Prime Minister if his party succeeds with majority in the general election.
The QWP chief said that criticizing the Parliament while being part of it was surprising and the PTI chief should tell how many times he attended the Parliament sessions during the last four and a half year. Aftab Sherpao ruled out tendering resignation from the National Assembly. He said that while only four months were left for the general election, there was no justification to step down. He said that QWP wanted to strengthen the democracy and it will not be part of any conspiracy against the democracy.
