More than 9.7 million citizens have availed various government services through 15 e-Khidmat Centers established across Punjab
LAHORE (Pakistan Point News - 23th Dec, 2025) More than 9.7 million citizens have availed various government services through 15 e-Khidmat Centers established across Punjab. These facilitation centers have significantly streamlined public service delivery by eliminating long queues and offering district, provincial, and federal services under one roof, ensuring greater convenience and efficiency.
During a progress review meeting presided by PITB Chairman Faisal Yousaf at Arfa Software Technology Park (ASTP), it was revealed that the e-Khidmat Centers have facilitated over 1.7 million citizens through postal services, while more than 1.29 million divorce certificates have been issued. Additionally, over 1.14 million driving licenses were issued, more than 919,000 citizens availed CNIC-related services, over 856,000 e-Stamp Papers were issued, and more than 819,000 citizens benefited from information services.
It is worth mentioning that e-Khidmat Marakaz currently offer 167 government services, including the issuance of Character, Birth, Death, Marriage, and Divorce Certificates, Domicile, Learner and Regular Driving Licenses, Vehicle Registration, Token Tax Payment, CNIC services, NADRA e-Sahulat, Postal Services, Vehicle Ownership Transfer, Property Registration, Route Permits, e-Stamp Papers, and Arms Licenses. Citizens can access these essential services conveniently in a citizen-friendly environment under one roof.
Speaking on the occasion, PITB Chairman Faisal Yousaf stated that e-Khidmat Centers are transforming public service delivery by eliminating bureaucratic hurdles and simplifying procedures. “Previously, citizens had to visit multiple government offices and endure lengthy procedures for essential services. With e-Khidmat Centers, they can now access 167 services under one roof, making the process faster, more transparent, and citizen-centric,” he added.
