19 new dengue cases reported in Rawalpindi

Total cases reach 1,196; over 40 patients under treatment, no deaths reported so far.

Nineteen new dengue cases have been reported in the city over the past 24 hours, raising the total number of cases this season to 1,196.

According to the health department, more than 40 patients are currently receiving treatment at various hospitals, while anti-dengue operations continue in affected areas. So far, no fatalities have been reported.

Authorities have screened over 18,000 individuals this season, inspecting 5.9 million buildings. Dengue larvae were found in more than 190,000 houses, and 26,000 locations were declared hotspots.

Officials have registered 4,641 cases over SOP violations, sealed 1,885 premises, and imposed fines exceeding Rs11 million.
