The reports from international media outlets Reuters and Bloomberg news indicate that a tender offer shared by SpaceX with its investors includes a section outlining “risk factors,” one of which hints at Musk’s potential return to political activity.
This marks the first time that SpaceX has formally acknowledged Musk’s political involvement as a possible risk to investors.
Elon Musk has previously been involved in US politics.
Last year, he reportedly donated around $300 million to support the election campaigns of former President Donald Trump and other Republican candidates. He also played a role in the Trump administration's budget-cutting initiatives, although the expected fiscal savings were never fully achieved.
