25-year-old player requests his supporters to pray for his swift and complete recovery
LAHORE: (UrduPoint/Pakistan Point News-July 5th, 2025) Pakistan all-rounder Shadab Khan has successfully undergone shoulder surgery, the cricketer confirmed in a social media post on Wednesday.
Taking to platform X (formerly Twitter), Shadab shared the news with his fans, stating: “Alhamdulillah, the surgery was successful. The rehabilitation phase will now begin.”
The 25-year-old also requested his supporters to pray for his swift and complete recovery.
Shadab Khan has been out of action due to a shoulder injury, which ruled him out of recent national team selections. Medical experts estimate that it could take two to three months for the cricketer to fully recover and regain match fitness.
The Pakistan cricket board (PCB) is expected to closely monitor his rehabilitation progress, with hopes that Shadab will return in time for upcoming international commitments later this year.
