Military’s media wing says Pakistan’s armed forces remain fully committed and prepared to defend country’s borders and eliminate all forms of Indian-backed terrorism
RAWALPINDI: (UrduPoint/Pakistan Point News-July 4th, 2025) The security forces successfully thwarted an infiltration attempt by the Indian-backed terrorist group “Fitna-ul-Khawarij” from the Afghan border into Pakistan and killed 30 terrorists, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said on Friday.
The military’s media wing said that the security forces launched a timely operation to foil significant cross-border movement of militants near the Pakistan-Afghanistan border in the Hasan Khel area of North Waziristan on the nights of July 1–2 and July 2–3.
The terrorist group, reportedly operating under full Indian patronage, attempted to infiltrate Pakistani territory but was eliminated during a swift and effective response by Pakistani security forces.
According to the ISPR, all 30 militants were neutralized in the operation. A large cache of weapons, ammunition, and explosives was also recovered from the site.
This proactive action by Pakistan's security forces averted a potentially devastating incident and safeguarded the nation from a major tragedy.
The ISPR further stated that Pakistan’s armed forces remain fully committed and prepared to defend the country’s borders and eliminate all forms of Indian-backed terrorism. The military has also urged the Afghan government to prevent the use of its soil by “foreign proxies” for terror activities and to take decisive action against elements promoting terrorism in Pakistan.
The Pakistan Army reaffirmed its resolve to protect the nation’s territorial integrity and uproot terrorism orchestrated under Indian sponsorship.
