The fifth meeting of the Task Force for Facilitation of Overseas Pakistanis was held at the Ministry of Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development
Islamabad (Pakistan Point News - 3rd Jul, 2025) The fifth meeting of the Task Force for Facilitation of Overseas Pakistanis was held at the Ministry of Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development. The meeting was chaired by Federal Minister for Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development, Chaudhry Salik Hussain.
The meeting was attended online by the Minister of State for Overseas Pakistanis, Secretary Overseas, heads and representatives of various ministries, departments and institutions, as well as representatives of provincial governments.
The objective of the meeting was to review the progress of implementation of 18 directives given by the Prime Minister of Pakistan for the facilitation of overseas Pakistanis. Along with this, the decisions taken in the previous four meetings of the Task Force were also considered.
During the discussion, several important decisions were taken, including the decision to hold a special meeting with relevant institutions such as FBR, FIA, Finance Division, State Bank of Pakistan, etc. to review the progress on matters related to these institutions.
