TASHKENT, (Pakistan Point News - 09th Apr, 2025) The Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) General Assembly, during its 150th session held in Uzbekistan, elected the United Arab Emirates as a member of the IPU Health Committee.
Dr. Sedra. Rashid Al Mansouri, Member of the Federal National Council (FNC), was elected to represent the UAE on the committee, which was recently established following amendments to the IPU’s statutes.
Her election highlights the prominent international standing of UAE parliamentary diplomacy and reflects the global parliamentary community’s confidence in the UAE’s expertise and its ability to actively contribute to shaping health policies and supporting health-related sustainable development goals.
