BUENOS AIRES (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 09th September, 2022) A 5.6-magnitude earthquake occurred in southern Peru, the National Seismological Center said on Thursday.
The underground tremor was recorded at 4:59 p.m. local time (21:59 GMT) at the depth of 29 kilometers (18 miles).
There is no immediate information about possible casualties or destruction.
