Tariq Fatemi Dismissed Over Dawn Leaks Controversy

ISLAMABAD, (Pakistan Point News – 29th April, 2017) : Prime Minister’s Special Assistant on Foreign Affairs Tariq Fatemi was dismissed over alleged Dawn Leaks controversy. According to details an official notification has also been issued of Fatemi dismissal. An inquiry committee was formed to probe the Dawn leaks controversy and after the committee's suggestions to dismiss Fatemi, PM approved and a notification was issued. PM also ordered All Pakistan Newspapers Society (APNS) to take necessary measures against the relevant newspaper and to develop a code of conduct. He said a disciplinary action is mandatory when it comes to national security.
