MEXICO CITY (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 07th May, 2021) One person was killed and eight were injured in an explosion at an oxygen tank warehouse in Antioquia department in northern Colombia, local news reported on Thursday.
According to Caracol news portal, the blast happened in a house where medical-use oxygen tanks were stored in Antioquia's Caucasia municipality. Rescue services managed to extinguish the blaze, but the building was reportedly completely demolished.
Local authorities do not believe there is a link between the incident and the ongoing country-wide riots, the news said. The mayor stated that the explosion was likely the result of negligence.
