MOSCOW (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 06th May, 2021) US Secretary of State Antony Blinken said on Thursday the United States was closely monitoring the situation on Ukraine's border, where it believes the concentration of Russian troops was the highest since 2014.
"We've been watching this very closely and very carefully," Blinken said following talks with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, adding that "Russia pushed more forces to Ukraine's border than anytime since 2014."
The US diplomat said Washington and NATO partners "stand strongly" with Kiev.
