PM Nawaz Sharif Elected As Chairman ECO

During the ceremony of 13th Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) summit being held in Islamabad PM Nawaz Sharif was elected as the Chairman of ECO. All the ten member states of the summit participated, involving Afghanistan, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Iran, Tajikistan, Turkey, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan as well as a special representative from China. Afghanistan ambassador to Pakistan represented his country in the Summit. The summit discussed the intra-region and inter-regions connectivity of the member states in energy, infrastructure, transport and trade sectors.
