Tunis, July (پاکستان پوائنٹ نیوز 24 يوليو 2026ء) In a statement on Thursday, the secretariat condemned attempts by Iran and its proxies to threaten freedom of international trade and global energy supplies in the Strait of Hormuz, the Arabian Gulf, the Red Sea, and the Bab Al-Mandab Strait. It also denounced their systematic hostile acts targeting Arab countries in the region with ballistic missiles and drones.
The statement underscored that these attacks constitute a flagrant violation of international law and humanitarian law, as well as the principles of good neighborliness.
The secretariat affirmed its full solidarity with Arab countries in confronting such hostile acts and expressed its absolute support for all measures they take to counter these threats and safeguard their interests, security, stability, territorial integrity, and the safety of their citizens and residents.
