New York, July (پاکستان پوائنٹ نیوز 23 يوليو 2026ء) The program targets representatives of countries participating in the UN Global Mechanism on ICTs in the Context of International Security. The program commenced at the UN headquarters in New York alongside the first substantive plenary session of the UN Global Mechanism, held from July 20 to 24.
The initiative is part of the Global Initiative for Capacity Building in Cyberspace, launched by Saudi Arabia, represented by the National Cybersecurity Authority (NCA), during the 2025 edition of the GCF. It was launched in cooperation with the GCF and the Saudi Information Technology Company (SITE), and in partnership with the United Nations and its specialized agencies.
CEO of GCF Abdurahman Al Hassan said the program is the first outcome of the Global Initiative for Capacity Building in Cyberspace, which reflects the Kingdom’s firm approach that investing in people is the cornerstone of development and prosperity across all sectors, particularly critical fields such as cybersecurity.
