Riyadh, July (پاکستان پوائنٹ نیوز 23 يوليو 2026ء) Dr. Majid Al-Shehri represented the center and delivered a presentation titled "AI Governance and Responsible AI for Smart Cities: Lessons from Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030." He reviewed the importance of developing integrated governance frameworks to support the responsible and trustworthy use of artificial intelligence technologies in smart cities and building capacities to promote innovation and achieve sustainable development, citing several practical experiences and practices, including lessons learned from Saudi Vision 2030.
The presentation addressed the importance of integrating ethical principles throughout the lifecycle of AI systems, from scientific research and education to model development and testing, public policy, and international knowledge exchange, contributing to a comprehensive ecosystem for responsible innovation.
