Madinah, July (پاکستان پوائنٹ نیوز 23 يوليو 2026ء) Madinah Region Development Authority noted that the number of licensed tourist hospitality facilities in Madinah rose to 661 by the end of the first quarter of 2026, while the total number of licensed rooms reached 80,223, representing approximately 15% of all licensed rooms in the Kingdom. This reflects growing tourism investments and continued expansion of the region's hospitality infrastructure.
The authority stressed that these indicators enhance Madinah's appeal as a global destination welcoming visitors and Umrah performers in accordance with the highest quality standards, contributing to economic development, improving quality of life, and strengthening the city's competitiveness at the local and international levels.
