Jeddah, July (پاکستان پوائنٹ نیوز 22 يوليو 2026ء) The proposed partnership aims to enhance connectivity between the two airlines' networks by enabling passengers to travel across both carriers' routes using a single ticket. The initiative would link Garuda Indonesia's network in Indonesia and Australia with Saudia's destinations across the middle East, Europe, and Africa, offering travelers broader access to destinations served by both airlines.
The MoU also provides a framework for exploring cooperation in several strategic areas, including network planning, flight schedule coordination between Saudi Arabia and Indonesia, and collaboration in sales, marketing, and distribution across markets of mutual interest.
The two airlines will also examine opportunities to enhance the passenger experience by strengthening operational integration. This includes coordinating airport services, developing loyalty programs and technological infrastructure, and improving services for Umrah and Hajj pilgrims traveling between Indonesia and the Kingdom.
The memorandum reflects both airlines' commitment to expanding strategic cooperation, strengthening air connectivity between Saudi Arabia and Indonesia, and supporting the continued growth of passenger traffic. It also aims to improve links with regional and international markets.
