Cairo, July (پاکستان پوائنٹ نیوز 22 يوليو 2026ء) Arab Parliament Speaker Mohammed bin Ahmed Al-Yamahi said in a statement that the parliament firmly rejects these provocative and irresponsible statements, which contradict Saudi Arabia's continued efforts and ongoing support for the Yemeni people.
He also stressed the Arab Parliament's categorical rejection of any offensive statements or threats targeting Saudi Arabia or undermining its sovereignty and national security, affirming that the Kingdom's security is an integral part of Arab national security.
The Arab Parliament speaker also called on the international community to assume its responsibilities and take the necessary steps to implement the relevant UN Security Council resolutions, foremost among them Resolution 2722, to ensure the protection of freedom of navigation in the Red Sea and deter any acts that threaten regional and international peace and security.
Additionally, he reaffirmed the Arab Parliament's full solidarity with Saudi Arabia and its support for all legitimate measures the Kingdom takes to protect its security, territorial integrity, and interests.
