Makkah, July (پاکستان پوائنٹ نیوز 21 يوليو 2026ء) In a statement issued by the league's General Secretariat, Secretary-General and Chairman of the Organization of Muslim Scholars Sheikh Dr. Mohammed Al-Issa denounced the allegations made by the militia's so-called military spokesperson, describing them as fabrications by a group that has brought suffering and destruction to Yemen.
He said the Yemeni people have been the Primary victims of the militia's crimes, violations, and interference in regional conflicts in pursuit of sectarian agendas and narrow political objectives, citing attacks on civilians and the targeting of infrastructure, including airports, oil facilities, government institutions, and commercial vessels in the Red Sea.
Al-Issa said the allegations were an attempt to divert attention from the militia's actions and evade responsibility for the difficult conditions facing Yemenis, particularly in areas under its control. He stressed that the claims contradict established facts and highlighted Saudi Arabia's continued support for the Yemeni people through development projects, budget assistance, provision of oil derivatives, and backing for international peace efforts.
He affirmed that the Kingdom's approach reflects its consistent commitment to supporting the Yemeni people, a role recognized by the Islamic world, international organizations, and the broader international community.
He noted that the Kingdom, in cooperation with the legitimate Yemeni government, has worked to support the Yemeni people through development projects, budget assistance, provision of oil derivatives for power stations, and continued support for international peace efforts. He affirmed that this reflects the Kingdom's consistent commitment to standing by the Yemeni people, a role recognized by the international community.
