Rafha, July (پاکستان پوائنٹ نیوز 21 يوليو 2026ء) The authority stated that the Talh season accounted for 8,050 beehives owned by 99 beekeepers, while the Sidr season recorded 3,389 beehives owned by 55 beekeepers, reflecting the growing interest in the seasonal programs organized under regulations and procedures that support environmental sustainability. The authority noted that the participation of a female beekeeper during the Talh season reflects its commitment to empowering all segments of the local community to benefit from the opportunities offered by these seasons and to enhance their participation in economic activities linked to natural resources.
The authority affirmed that organizing the Talh and Sidr seasons forms part of its efforts to preserve plant biodiversity, support the beekeeping sector, and enhance the production of natural honey in line with environmental sustainability objectives. The initiative also contributes to local community development while maintaining a balance between utilizing and conserving natural resources.
