U.S. Chamber of Commerce Releases Publication Highlighting Saudi Vision 2030 Achievements

Washington, July (پاکستان پوائنٹ نیوز ‎‎‎ 19 يوليو 2026ء) In the foreword to the publication, U.S. Chamber of Commerce Vice President for middle East Affairs Steve Lutes said U.S. companies have contributed to Saudi Arabia's growth for decades through investment and the transfer of technology and expertise.

He noted that the partnership between the two sides has expanded to encompass the energy, manufacturing, finance, digital technologies, artificial intelligence (AI), sports, tourism, and infrastructure sectors.

He said the relationship between the two countries extends beyond commercial transactions to focus on transformation and innovation. He also expressed the chamber's commitment to further strengthening trade ties that foster innovation and contribute to sustainable and inclusive growth in both countries.

Lutes also announced plans to release an updated edition of the publication to coincide with the Future Investment Initiative (FII) conference in Riyadh.

In a pre-recorded video message, Saudi Ambassador to the United States Princess Reema bint Bandar bin Sultan highlighted the achievements of Saudi Vision 2030 in its 10th year, noting that non-oil activities now account for more than half of the Kingdom's economy.

She noted that the unemployment rate had fallen from 12% to 6.4% in the first quarter of 2026, while the homeownership rate had risen from 47% to 66%.

Princess Reema added that Saudi Arabia welcomed 123 million tourists last year, surpassing its target of 100 million visitors ahead of schedule.

She said U.S. companies have been partners in Saudi Arabia's transformation journey from the outset, adding that the participation of more than 50 U.S. companies in the publication reflects their contributions to developing new industries, advancing education and healthcare, training young people, and investing in projects.

The publication features perspectives from U.S. Chamber of Commerce members on supporting the implementation of Saudi Vision 2030 programs and objectives. It highlights the companies' achievements and outlines their priorities for the next phase amid the expanding opportunities created by the Saudi-U.S. partnership.

The chamber is leading this effort through its U.S.-Saudi Arabia business Program, which is dedicated to strengthening bilateral trade and investment ties, connecting U.S. companies with emerging opportunities in the Kingdom, and representing the interests of its members across sectors, including AI, capital markets, defense, the digital economy, energy, financial technology, healthcare, infrastructure, manufacturing, and tourism.
