Saudi Arabia Joins Global Community In Marking International Day Of Combating Sand And Dust Storms

Jeddah, July (پاکستان پوائنٹ نیوز ‎‎‎ 12 يوليو 2026ء) The Kingdom's commitment is reflected through the Sand and Dust Storm Regional Center in Jeddah, established in 2022 as part of the Kingdom's environmental initiatives and operating under the National Center for Meteorology. The center is one of four global regional nodes within the World Meteorological Organization's Sand and Dust Storm Warning Advisory and Assessment System (SDS-WAS), serving as the node for GCC countries.
