Saudi-Hellenic Investment and Trade Committee Holds Second Virtual Meeting

Riyadh, July (پاکستان پوائنٹ نیوز ‎‎‎ 10 يوليو 2026ء) Al-Kassabi emphasized the deep-rooted strategic relationship between the two nations, noting that this year marks the centennial of Saudi-Hellenic diplomatic relations.

The committee aims to further consolidate trade ties, drive sustainable economic growth, and reinforce investment partnerships between both countries.

To date, the committee's collaborative efforts have yielded 23 high-quality initiatives developed alongside 16 Saudi entities. These projects span multiple critical sectors, including investment, health, transportation, logistics, industry, agriculture, food, economy, foreign trade, customs, small and medium enterprises, and standards and metrology.

Representing the Kingdom, the committee comprises 10 government entities, led by the Ministry of Commerce and including the ministries of environment, water and agriculture; finance; industry and mineral resources; transport and logistic services; economy and planning; health; and investment, alongside the Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority and the Public Investment Fund.

Underscoring this growing partnership, bilateral trade volume witnessed a 76% increase in 2025, climbing to $1.7 billion compared to $970 million in 2020. Plastics and aluminum led Saudi exports to Greece, while mineral products and pharmaceuticals constituted the Primary Greek imports into the Saudi market.
