Red Sea Fund Opens Applications for Post-Production Support

Jeddah, July (پاکستان پوائنٹ نیوز ‎‎‎ 07 يوليو 2026ء) The initiative is part of the fund’s efforts to support cinematic talent and strengthen the global presence of Arab, African, and Asian productions.

The fourth cycle targets projects that have completed filming and are in the post-production stage as they prepare for their final versions. Eligible projects include feature-length narrative and animated films (60 minutes or more) submitted by Arab, Arab-origin, African, and Asian filmmakers.

The effort aims to boost the quality of cinematic productions and empower filmmakers to complete their projects.

Operating through four cycles each year, the fund provides support to film projects at development, production, and post-production stages. This support aims to foster the growth of the film industry and expand opportunities for creative works to reach regional and international festivals and screening platforms.

Since its launch in 2021, the Red Sea Fund has supported more than 280 films with grants totaling US$15 million, reinforcing its role in empowering filmmaking talent and advancing the film industry in Saudi Arabia and the region.

Beyond financial support, the fund also implements initiatives to strengthen the cinema sector, including programs to empower women in the field, while building partnerships with international film festivals, and presenting awards for outstanding projects.

The Red Sea Fund invited interested applicants to submit their applications for the fourth cycle from here: (https://redseafilmfest.com/en/red-sea-fund/).
