Riyadh, July (پاکستان پوائنٹ نیوز 05 يوليو 2026ء) The Kingdom will be represented by five students: Hussein Habib Al-Saleh from Riyadh Education, Reda Salem Al-Khamis from Al-Ahsa Education, Mohammed Abdulrahman Al-Arfaj from Eastern Region Education, Mohammed Mahmoud Al-Raml from Eastern Region Education, and Nasser Hisham Al-Shaya from Riyadh Education. Their participation follows an intensive training program under Mawhiba's International Olympiads Program.
The International Physics Olympiad is one of the world's most prestigious scientific competitions for high school students. It combines theoretical and experimental examinations, providing participants with an opportunity to compete scientifically and exchange knowledge and experiences with outstanding young talents from around the world.
The Saudi team's participation reflects the continued efforts of Mawhiba and the Ministry of education to identify and nurture gifted students, enabling them to represent the Kingdom in international scientific competitions and strengthen its presence in science and innovation. In previous editions of the Olympiad, Saudi Arabia has won 30 international medals and 22 certificates of appreciation.
