Following the seizure, ZATCA coordinated with the General Directorate of Narcotics Control, leading to the arrest of the two intended recipients of the shipment inside the Kingdom.
Al-Harbi affirmed that ZATCA remains committed to tightening customs controls over all imports and exports across the Kingdom's ports. This vigilance aligns with the authority's core strategic pillar of protecting society from illicit and prohibited goods, achieved through close cooperation with the Ministry of Interior and narcotics control teams.
