Cairo, July (پاکستان پوائنٹ نیوز 03 يوليو 2026ء) In a statement, Arab Parliament Speaker Mohammed Al-Yamahi said the remarks represent an attempt to undermine the Palestinian refugee cause and UNRWA's mandate. He warned against efforts to impose a new reality that violates international law and relevant international legitimacy resolutions.
Al-Yamahi stressed that UNRWA serves as a United Nations witness to the Palestinian refugee issue and that the continuation of its mandate is essential to safeguarding the rights of Palestinian refugees until a just and comprehensive solution to their cause is reached.
He called on the United Nations and the international community to support UNRWA, uphold its mandate, and reject attempts to undermine the Palestinian refugee cause or infringe on the rights of Palestinian refugees.
