Jeddah, July (پاکستان پوائنٹ نیوز 02 يوليو 2026ء) The general secretariat emphasized the unity of the Palestinian people at home and in the diaspora, and the legal, political, and geographical unity of the territory of the occupied State of Palestine in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, including Jerusalem.
It reaffirmed the need to respect UNRWA’s role and responsibilities, protect its institutions, and preserve its mandate and the authority granted to it under United Nations General Assembly Resolution No. 302 of 1949 in its five areas of operation, while emphasizing its rejection of any attempts to undermine UNRWA’s vital role, which cannot be reduced, abolished, or replaced.
The general secretariat urged all member states, various international parties, and donors to support UNRWA financially, politically, legally, and through the media to enable it to continue providing its services to Palestinian refugees.
