Riyadh, July (پاکستان پوائنٹ نیوز 01 يوليو 2026ء) The integration marks a new phase in the growth of CFG, which is wholly owned by SALIC, following years of development, expansion, and the establishment of a strong operational base in Ukraine. The move is expected to enhance the company's access to global markets by leveraging Olam Agri's commercial, operational, and logistics capabilities, supporting its long-term growth and expansion.
SALIC said the integration forms part of its efforts to strengthen synergies among its portfolio companies by connecting its global assets and capabilities to generate greater long-term value. It is also expected to support growth opportunities for CFG and reinforce its position as one of Ukraine's leading agricultural companies, reflecting SALIC's continued confidence in the country's agricultural sector and its future potential.
Olam Agri is one of the world's leading food and agribusiness companies, operating in more than 30 countries with extensive capabilities in sourcing, trading, processing, distribution, and logistics. The integration is expected to strengthen the company's capabilities by expanding sourcing options and leveraging CFG's agricultural and operational expertise across a number of key crops, enhancing efficiency throughout the value chain.
Earlier this year, SALIC announced that it had increased its stake in Olam Agri to 80.01% through a strategic transaction valued at approximately SAR7 billion. The move reflects SALIC's strategy of building an integrated global food and agriculture ecosystem linking its domestic and international investments while enhancing the efficiency, resilience, and preparedness of supply chains.
