It reflects the Kingdom's continued advancement and the unlimited support of its leadership for the ICT sector, and the effective partnership between the public and private sectors, alongside a robust and inclusive digital infrastructure that has reinforced Saudi Arabia's global leadership across international ICT-related indicators.
CST highlighted that Saudi Arabia's consistent leadership in the IDI reflects a robust digital infrastructure and regulatory environment, which continues to accelerate the growth of its digital economy. By the end of 2025, the Kingdom's ICT market expanded to SAR199 billion, recording an 8% compound annual growth rate (CAGR) over five years to cement its position as the largest and fastest-growing market in the MENA region. This growth is backed by a 100% internet penetration rate and a median mobile internet download speed of 216 Mbps.
Saudi Arabia has maintained its position at the forefront of the ICT Development Index, reaffirming its rapid digital transformation and sustaining its global leadership.
