GACA President Chairs 74th Session of Arab Civil Aviation Organization Executive Council in Rabat

Rabat, July (پاکستان پوائنٹ نیوز ‎‎‎ 01 يوليو 2026ء) The session was attended by heads of delegations from the council’s member states and the organization’s director general.

In his opening remarks, Al-Duailej, who also serves as President of the Executive Council of the Arab Civil Aviation Organization (ACAO), said the session’s agenda includes a wide range of strategic, technical, and legislative topics related to the future of Arab civil aviation.

Al-Duailej underlined the importance of continued joint Arab action to keep pace with the rapid changes in the global air transport sector. He stressed the need to strengthen institutional evaluation tools and review the organization’s technical structure through its various committees in a way that meets the aspirations of member states and enables them to benefit from international best practices.

The meeting addressed several administrative, financial, and technical matters related to the organization. It also reviewed achievements over the past period. It followed up on the implementation of decisions and recommendations issued by ACAO’s Executive Council and General Assembly, thereby enhancing the organization’s performance and achieving its objectives.

The meeting also reviewed a number of agenda items for the next General Assembly, with a view to adopting decisions that support the development of joint Arab cooperation in civil aviation and strengthen ACAO’s regional and international standing.

In his capacity as chairman of ACAO’s Executive Council, Al-Duailej also participated in the seventh meeting for regional organizations, organized by the African Civil Aviation Commission (AFCAC). The meeting focused on enhancing cooperation among regional organizations and advancing coordination mechanisms in air transport and international legislation.
