AlUla, June (پاکستان پوائنٹ نیوز 29 يونيو 2026ء) The June Bootids meteor shower is active annually from about June 22 to July 2 and usually peaks around June 27. It can be observed during nighttime hours, when the meteors appear to radiate from the direction of the Boötes constellation in the sky.
AlUla’s clear skies and low levels of light pollution provide favorable conditions for observing astronomical phenomena. However, the shower’s peak this year coincided with the moon nearing fullness, increasing sky brightness and affecting visibility of faint meteors, although some brighter meteors remained visible to the naked eye.
Upon completion, the AlUla Manara project will include an advanced astronomical observatory, a research center, telescopes, and observation platforms, along with exhibitions and interactive experiences. The project will provide an integrated scientific experience for visitors and researchers and support the objectives of AlUla Vision and Saudi Vision 2030.
