Jeddah, June (پاکستان پوائنٹ نیوز 25 يونيو 2026ء) The Kingdom has adopted a pioneering approach to supporting and qualifying national maritime talent while enhancing maritime safety and environmental protection, benefiting from its strategic location, which has boosted its position as a global logistics hub and a key center for maritime transport and trade.
The Kingdom has supported the qualification of national maritime personnel through the accreditation of several specialized maritime education and training institutions that offer more than 60 accredited training programs in navigation, marine engineering, and basic and advanced courses. These programs prepare national talent and enhance their readiness to work across various maritime activities in accordance with the highest international standards.
The Kingdom has also enhanced its international maritime presence by signing 17 mutual recognition agreements for seafarers' certificates, expanding employment opportunities for Saudi seafarers and boosting their competitiveness at the international level.
