Riyadh, June (پاکستان پوائنٹ نیوز 23 يونيو 2026ء) Melon cultivation is concentrated in Qassim, Madinah, Hail, Najran, Al-Jouf, Eastern and Tabuk regions. Several varieties include Canary melon, hybrid Mangawi, hybrid Dalia, Honeydew, and Golden Bell.
The ministry continues to support farmers through technical guidance, financing, and advanced agricultural technologies, while strengthening supply chains and marketing channels to facilitate access to local produce. It also promotes awareness of seasonal fruits, encourages consumption of national products, and supports the marketing of locally grown fruit to increase farmers’ incomes.
