Riyadh, June (پاکستان پوائنٹ نیوز 22 يونيو 2026ء) Speaking at the opening ceremony, Eng. bin Salamah said the event and its specialized exhibitions provide an important platform to showcase the development of Saudi industry and its transformation toward adopting Fourth Industrial Revolution technologies. He noted that the exhibition supports efforts to attract high-quality industrial investments and highlights the Kingdom's growing leadership in manufacturing.
He added that Saudi Arabia's industrial strategy focuses on maximizing the value of natural resources by converting raw materials into value-added products, contributing to the growth of non-oil exports, economic diversification, and strengthening the Kingdom’s position as a global industrial hub.
Chief Executive Officer of Riyadh Exhibitions Company Mohammed Al-Hussaini said the event features the participation of 337 local and international companies representing 17 countries. He noted that the exhibition coincides with an international conference featuring specialized panel discussions and more than 40 speakers from 12 countries, including industry experts and executives specializing in manufacturing, supply chains, and industrial digital transformation.
Following the inauguration, Eng. bin Salamah toured the exhibition halls and reviewed the latest technologies, industrial solutions, and products presented by participating entities. The exhibits cover manufacturing, plastics and petrochemicals, printing and packaging, and smart logistics services.
The event also witnessed the signing of a cooperation agreement between National Plastic Factory Company (NPF) and Spain’s Figueras to manufacture stadium and theater seating locally. The project's first phase will involve investments of SAR10 million and is expected to support industrial knowledge transfer, strengthen local content, and advance industry localization goals.
