Saudi Arabia Ranks Ninth Globally in Auditing and Accounting Practices Indicator

Riyadh, June (پاکستان پوائنٹ نیوز ‎‎‎ 19 يونيو 2026ء) Saudi Organization for Chartered and Professional Accountants (SOCPA) CEO Dr. Ahmad Al-Meghames stated that Saudi Arabia's advancement in this indicator reflects continuous reforms in the accounting and auditing profession, contributing to enhanced professional practices, the application of international standards, and greater transparency and reliability of financial information.

He explained that the Kingdom's move from 22nd to ninth place in 2026 reflects the continued development of the Kingdom's professional and regulatory ecosystem and rising quality in the practice of auditing and accounting in the business sector, noting that the accounting sector has, over the past decade, adopted international accounting and auditing standards, developed regulatory and professional frameworks, and expanded digital services, in line with Saudi Vision 2030.

Saudi Arabia ranked 13th globally overall in the IMD World Competitiveness Yearbook 2026, and third among G20 countries.
