Riyadh, June (پاکستان پوائنٹ نیوز 15 يونيو 2026ء) The program was inaugurated via videoconference by CST Governor Eng. Haitham bin Abdulrahman Al-Ohali, Yemen's Minister of Communications and Information Technology Dr. Shadi Basurra, and SDRPY Assistant Supervisor General Eng. Hassan Al-Attas.
The program featured several specialized modules delivered by experts and specialists from CST. It aimed to develop participants' technical and administrative skills and enhance their knowledge of the latest practices and technologies in the communications and information technology sector.
The initiative marks the second training program implemented through the partnership between SDRPY and CST, following the success of the first edition, which included 32 trainees. The previous program contributed to strengthening the capabilities of Yemeni personnel and promoting the transfer of advanced Saudi expertise in the sector.
The training program is part of broader efforts to support institutional capacity building and develop Yemeni national competencies. It contributes to enhancing the performance of the communications and information technology sector, increasing its readiness to keep pace with rapid technological developments, and improving the quality of services provided to citizens.
SDRPY's development projects and initiatives have also contributed to the economic empowerment of women, youth, and local communities while supporting investment in human capital. These efforts include the "Building the Future for Yemeni Youth" program, projects supporting livelihoods in affected communities, and initiatives aimed at enhancing the capabilities of personnel working in the transportation sector.
