Riyadh, June (پاکستان پوائنٹ نیوز 11 يونيو 2026ء) scheduled for Monday, July 6, the event will focus on youth volunteer action and its role in strengthening climate action and supporting the Sustainable Development Goals, with the participation of representatives of civil society organizations, academic institutions, international partners, and youth.
Saudi Green Building Forum Secretary-General Faisal Alfadl said the event’s inclusion in the official UN program reflects growing confidence in the role of Saudi civil society organizations in supporting the Sustainable Development Goals and strengthening international partnerships. Alfadl said it also reflects the support and empowerment given to the nonprofit sector and civil society organizations under Saudi Vision 2030.
The forum is a membership-based nongovernmental organization with national objectives and special consultative status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council. It has more than 10,000 members, and its members and partners have helped support and complete more than 5,000 green projects since its establishment in 2010, supporting sustainable development and strengthening professional and knowledge partnerships in the built environment and sustainability sectors.
